Doing something is easier than you think

Standard

These are some of the people and homes of Wheelwright Ky.

They need our help .

The only difference between us and them.

Circumstance,

they did not choose to live in an impoverished area that has no jobs. They do not choose to be stuck it just happened .

As we toured Wheelwright my friend Eliza and I asked Debbie a local that has lived there her whole life what the needs are.

Her response so simple it surprised us

Paper products and cleaning products.

She explained you cannot buy these items with food stamps.Unemployment is not enough to support the families needs, so they often go without.

So if you have thought to yourself I can’t afford to give  or don’t have the time to go on a missions trip well think again .

If you go to the grocery store  you can help the people of Wheelwright.

As a couponer I know you can get many of these things for free or almost free. If you want to learn how you can go here to learn.

Even if you don’t coupon would you consider spending an extra couple of dollars  to buy a bottle of cleaner, some paper towels or  some toilet paper?

You can bring the items to any  Crosspoint just be sure to label them WW

so we can set them aside to take with us for the December trip.

I know it doesn’t sound like much but for the people of Wheelwright it is huge the only store within 50 miles is Dollar general. Most grow gardens to have access to fresh vegetables.Even if they had a store close enough to go the reality of their situation is  they don’t have the funds to purchase these items ,especialy in the winter when most are doing good to keep the power or heat on.

You can make a difference in someones life this week just by going to the grocery store.

To learn more about missions  poverty and making a difference this message is amazing .
